Achievements –
Dementieva is the most successful Russian Fed Cup player. In 2005, she single-handedly led the Russian victory with a 3-2 victory over France. All the 3 points came from Dementieva. As a junior, she won 1996 Orange Bowl 16s and was a member of the Russian Connolly Continental Cup team, which she won in 1998.
Her other awards include-

- Karen Krantzcke Sportsmanship Award in 2008.
Elena is considered as one of the most talented player on the Tour who is yet to win a Grand Slam title. Blue Dog and Sponge Cake, created a song about Dementieva and fellow Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova, called "Dementapova”.
