Father – Didier Tsonga is a former handball player and chemistry teacher.

Brother – Enzo, who is younger to Jo-Wilfried. He is also a basketball player and is also a part of group of young players training at National Institute of Sports in Vincennes

Achievements –
Tsonga had a successful junior career, and won the US Open juniors title in 2003. He also reached the finals of other 3 Grand Slam events. He finished 2003, ranked No.2 in the juniors rankings. Tsonga reached the BNP Paribas Masters final in 2008 and won that tournament. At match point, 1.3 million viewers were recorded. Tsonga’s other awards include –

    • ATP Newcomer of the Year in 2007.
    • ATP Most Improved Player of Year in 2008.

Achievements –
Davydenko started playing tennis at the age of just 7 with his older brother Eduard. In 2000, he played in the Futures Tour, where he won 1 title and reached the finals of 3 other tournaments. His ATP debut was at Amsterdam where he reached the semi-finals. He has a 13-8 Davis Cup record in singles in 15 ties.

Achievements –
Marin began playing tennis at the age of 7 with his cousin Tanja, who lived in Germany. Tanja used to come to Marin’s place in summers. Marin finished as World No.2 in juniors in 2005 winning 4 International juniors titles which included Roland Garros. He also reached the quarter-finals of three other Grand Slams.
Cilic enjoyed success in doubles as well, winning 3 junior titles in 5 finals.

Achievements –
In 2002, Del Potro won Orange Bowl 14s title and played the last juniors tournament at Roland Garros in 2005. He was a runner-up in back to back tennis tournaments at junior level which were held in Mexico and Costa Rico. Besides Nadal, Del Potro is the only player to defeat Roger Federer in the Grand Slam finals, where he won the US Open. He is also the only player to defeat Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in the same tournament. In 2009, he finished in the Top 10 and was the youngest player in the top 10 list.
