The Regions Morgan Keegan Championships is an annual hard-court tennis tournament which is held in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. The tournament started in 1971 in Salisbury, but was moved to Memphis in 1976. The event is part of ATP World Tour 500 for men’s competition whereas it is an International event on the WTA Tour for women. The venue of the tournament is the Racquet Club of Memphis. This is the only private club in the world which hosts a combined professional indoor event for men and women.
Both the tournaments for men and women are played at the same venue on indoor hard courts each year in February. The primary sponsor of the tournament is Regions Financial and Cellular South. Both the events support the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The tournament was known as U.S. Indoor National Championships in 1977. The stadium constructed for the tournament had a capacity of 5,000 seats with 16 luxury executive suites- the first time in the world, which was built exclusively for tennis.
